Check out a few of my favorite vendors from the EtsyRAIN Handmade Holiday show, winter 2012.
Belly of a Whale is a long-time favorite of mine. The fabric colors and patterns are unique and hard-to-find. I have, at last count, at least three business card holders with hedgehogs on them (And yes, I have THAT many different business cards....). My two NEW favorite items from Belly of a Whale are the Chevron Bunting. Awesome. Now I just need an occasion to hang up some bunting.
My other new favorite is this stunning scarf (unfortunately all sold out of this pattern, but the photo links to an equally pretty scarf) and I'm sick about the fact that I didn't scoop it up at the EtsyRAIN show when I had a chance. Dumb. Really dumb.
Cathy makes personalized, custom-made embroidery hoop art and made-to-order yarn-wrapped wreaths decorated with one-of-a-kind felt flowers.
Just check out the pretties in Catshy's booth. PRETTIES!
Red Boots Design is another long-time favorite of mine. They're beautiful and complex illustrations make wonderful screenprinted textiles. At the EtsyRAIN show where you could purchase kitchen towels that were used to test prints. Each towel has multiple prints -- in a variety of colors. I scooped up three and they are hanging in my kitchen right now.
They also print on hoodie sweatshirts....
Sunday Drive Designs prints her funny and elaborate designs on kitchen towels, sachets and shirts. This nice smelling bee hive is supposed to keep the moths away. LOVE. I bought three: front hall closet, knitting stash and one for a friend who loves bees.
And then there's this. Anyone who knows me at all knows that I am obsessed with potatoes. I love every thing about this kitchen towel. Everything. Although, I didn't run across it at the show -- I only found it later in Becky's Etsy shop. If you're trying desperately to think of a belated X-mas gift you could get me --- here it is.
The Yardia booth was another of my show favorites. Her beautiful illustrations are paired with quotes from famous literature. I love the whole package.
And this one spoke to me (for some reason....)
That's it for my EtsyRAIN Handmade Holiday picks. Were you at the show? Who were your favorite vendors? Leave a link to their shops in the comments.
